I’m an Electronic Engineer who recently graduated from a master’s program in Computer Sciences. I was an intern at MILA working in Yoshua Bengio’s Humanitarian AI group, and also a member of the Artificial Intelligence Team at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru where I worked on Deep Learning applications for remote sensing using satellite images and developed an automated water body detection tool to help experts evaluate the damage of flooding events in developing cities (Perú) in shorter periods of time. I have also worked in applications involving sensors and embedded systems for electronic devices and drones or UAV. My passion for technology involves research about Machine Learning to tackle imperative problems in our society.
